Honest pairs, not staged stock photos
Every pair below is the same fixture before and after, photographed from the same spot in the same daylight. We do not swap in a new tub for the "after" or brighten the photo to fake a result. Tap the Before, Both or After buttons over each set to compare. The grit you see in the "before" shots — rust at the drain, crazed gelcoat, avocado tile, burned laminate — is the real housing stock we work on across Hayward's 1950s–1970s homes and rental blocks.
What stays constant is the method: deep-clean, repair, etch or scuff-sand, bonding primer, then a sprayed acrylic-urethane topcoat that cures hard in 24–48 hours. That is why an "after" looks like a factory surface and not a paint job.
Cast-iron tub — Fairway Park
A 1960s cast-iron alcove tub with rust around the drain and a chip at the rim. Stripped, etched and resprayed in roughly four hours, ready to use the next morning.
Fiberglass shower stall — Cherryland
A 1980s one-piece fiberglass stall in a Cherryland apartment with faded almond gelcoat, crazing and a stress crack by the drain. The crack was reinforced from behind, then the whole stall was recoated white.
Porcelain sink — Mt. Eden
A drop-in porcelain bathroom sink in a Mt. Eden bungalow with a rust ring under the faucet and a chip on the front edge. Reglazed in place in an afternoon, no plumbing pulled.
Laminate countertop — Glen Eden
A 1970s laminate kitchen counter in Glen Eden with a worn almond pattern and a burn mark near the stove. Resurfaced to an even stone-look gray, no tear-out of the cabinets.
Tile tub surround — Southgate
An avocado-green ceramic tub surround in a 1970s Southgate bathroom, dingy grout and a couple of cracked tiles. Recolored to a clean white field over the existing tile — no demo, no dust.
The same result across every surface
The five pairs above cover the work we do most in Hayward: a cast-iron tub in Fairway Park, a fiberglass stall in Cherryland, a porcelain sink in Mt. Eden, a laminate counter in Glen Eden and an avocado tile surround in Southgate. Different materials, different prep, one outcome — a hard, glossy, even finish that reads as new.
If your fixture looks like one of the "before" shots, it is almost certainly a candidate for reglazing rather than replacement. Send us a photo or call (510) 929-3220 and we will tell you the method and the price on the spot. You can also check the full price list or read how the process works step by step.
